Hi Joe, my daughter responded to NP the first day, when I started her on half pill she started to throw up again, should I keep her on one pill on the second day also? And if she doesn’t respond to NP what should I use nox vomic or arnica 30 c? Does arnica liquid extract works the same as arnica 30 c?

You have not indicated how old your Baby is and for how long she has suffered from Reflux and for how long you have given her Nat Phos 6x which is my default remedy for Baby GERD, and if you have given her a tablet after every feed.

You have asked for instructions to use Nux Vomica but this is a remedy that may only be used under supervision and at this stage it is best not to use it till you give the details requested above.

You will NOT give baby Arnica as this is a remedy I prescribe for the mother. Do not experiment with the various remedies I have prescribed to hundreds of mothers as they may cause more harm than good.

I shall copy my default therapy for Baby GERD which I hope will help your baby too.

The remedy that has proved to be very effective for Baby GERD is:

Nat Phos 6x dose 1 tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed.
You will not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.

You may like to try to reduce the quantity of milk you give for each feed to enable baby’s digestion to stabilize. You will however feed more often. It is essential that you burp baby immediately after every feed.

You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby.You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.

It is best not to vaccinate Baby till s/he is over a year old as the after effects in some cases can add to the problems with GERD.

You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that Nat Phos 6x will help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.

Report progress in 24 hours or as often as you wish on this thread.

My daughter is 55 days old, I started NP on her 3 days ago, I stopped the third day and she started to throw up again and I’m giving her half NP, today which is the third day she threw up once an hour after her bottle it was a lot of vomit first was all the milk and right after a lot of clear liquid. What’s my next step.

I noticed that she started to have acid reflux about 30 days ago it was mild I toke her to the doctor and he confirmed and it started to get worse until I gave her NP she it’s not throwing up every bottle but still throwing up once or twice a day every day.

Hi Joe, my two previous post above say a lil about my daughter improvement, thank God and thank for your help my daughter is almost 100% acid reflux free, I stopped giving her NP on the third day and she started to throw up once a day on day 3 and 4…. I stopped again on day 5 and she didn’t threw up for 24 hrs, but day 6 she threw up again so she is back on half NP after every bottle, I also noticed that the day she didn’t throw up her burps still have the smell of acid reflux on it or sulfur smell, you asked me to let you know if NP alone wouldn’t help so you could prescribe her something to go along with NP. I’m so happy to see her improvement and that we are almost there. Ty in advance.

Glad to note that she has responded well and is almost well.

I note that you have stopped the NP for a few days till she throws up again.
You can avoid this status by giving her half tablet after every feed and you must know that Nat Phos 6x is NOT to be considered as a DRUG. It is a Cell Salt which works in a different manner to heal. Do some reading on Cell Salts on the web.

You do NOT need the other remedy as she has responded to the NP alone and you must follow my instructions above.

I believe that NP it’s safe just was wondering if she would need something else to reinforce NP as she is on day 6 taking it or if I just keep giving her half NP for a lil longer and for how long would be ok to keep giving her NP in case she still need it? She will have her two months Doctor app. On the 6th should I advise the pediatrician that she is on NP? She will have her two months shot I read your post about wait with the shots but I have two more kids and I feel safe having her vaccinated.

As long as Nat Phos 6x is helping her at half tablet after a feed you can consider that you are fortunate as the majority of mothers have to resort to a full tablet after every feed.

You can safely give it to her for many more months in the future till she shows that her digestive system, which in the majority of babies is not fully developed, is able to cope with your breast milk without reflux.

You will be doing babies and their mothers a big favour if you spread the news to them and your pediatrician that Nat Phos 6x used as prescribed by me, helped your baby in a manner that the dangerous PPI drugs they usually prescribe, like Zantac Prevacid Nexium, cannot equal.

Hello Joe, my last report was that my daughter was on half NP after every bottle I had to put her back on one full NP because she is not responding to half NP anymore…today she threw up 3times which she was spitting up once a day before, at nap or sleeping time she is always swallowing and gagging more often cuz of the reflux comes up and down to her throat guess she has silent reflux also, she can only have one ounce of milk every two hrs but she still crying for more if I do give her 2 ounces every two or three hrs she will eventually throw up, she is so skinny right now even knowing she is doing a lot better spitting up much less but still don’t seem gained any weight since her last visit to the doctor…will report her weight on Monday as she is going for her 2 months doctor visit.

On the basis of your latest report, I believe that it is time to give her Nux Vomica 30c in the Wet dose which I presume that you have read on this thread how to make. (3 drops in a 500ml bottle of spring water).

You will give her just 1 teaspoonful twice daily and report progress in 24 hours.

I note that you will visit your doctor in a few days and you must know that vaccinating her when she is still suffering from GERD will only make her condition much worse.

My advice is to vaccinate her after she is a year old.

Yes you may use the Nux Vomica 30c in the pellets.

Hello Joe, my daughter started on NV 24 hrs ago as recommended by you don’t know if it’s a coincidence or it caused her to be a lil constipated last night and today…today she cried a lot like she was in pain so I gave her karo syrup Which it helped her.. she pooped after feel hours but right after she had the syrup she threw up a lot and when to sleep peaceful …. Every time she feels uncomfortable she cries for a while than throws up and go to sleep… She still burping and spitting up the clear liquid reflux, how long can she stay on Nux Vomica? she still on one full NP it works better for Her than half.

Nux Vomica 30c in the Wet dose is NOT the reason for her current distress. NV reinforces the action of the NP6x and helps to reduce the acidity in the stomach of both adults and babies as it accelerates the passage of food or milk down the digestive system.

If as you have already discovered, she fares better on a FULL tablet of NP, you can safely continue to give her this dosage after every feed.

I tend to be cautious in all my prescriptions even though I am certain that my Wet dose method of prescribing remedies is the Ultimate Cure of all ailments.

You may use NV 30c for another day and if it does not help, you can stop it.

I feed her every two to three hrs can I give half NP to her than next feed full NP pattern till complete 6 pallets in 24 hrs? Thank you for your responses. In my experience dating back to about 40 years of helping with my own version of Homeopathy which has been labelled “Joepathy”, I have observed that many babies are born with a digestive system which is not fully able to digest their mother’s breast milk. My first born son who is now 45 years of age also suffered from this same ailment where he would suckle at the breast and do a projectile vomit of the curdled milk often on my shoulder while I was carrying him after burping.

I was interested in this phenomenon and after some research with the few Homeopathic remedies I had in my stock at that time, I discovered that Nat Phos 6x was indeed the Ultimate remedy to treat Baby GERD. I gave it to my son and since that time, I did not hesitate to prescribe it for all babies who suffered from Baby GERD even though NP was not officially recognized in the classical texts for the treatment of this common ailment.

You are obviously not aware of the trauma that I suffered for the last 15 years as a result of deviating from the standard classical method of treating the “Symptoms presented by the patient” instead of treating the disease directly, which I did after faithfully following the classical textbooks in the treatment of disease which I further added to by purchasing Radar which is supposed to be the most extensive and expensive software available even today for the Homeopath on the computer. I did give it a fair chance and it was only when I discovered that it was designed to further the useof Homeopathic remedies based on various theoretical classical norms which did not work, that I decided to treat the disease head on, using the same therapy I had used in a similar case, like for instance treating Baby GERD with Nat Phos 6x, even though it is not listed for use in the classical Repertories. I would also advise you not to vaccinate baby till she is over a year old as the terrible after effects of doing so at this age can be read on a search on Google.

My sweet baby boy had silent reflux from the age of 4 weeks he would constantly be clearing his throat, arch his back during feedings and would scream out in pain. He had to be held upright for at least an hour after feeding and most of the time he slept in his swing or my arms. At first we tried different formulas thinking it was due to a milk allergy, then being desperate I started him on prevacid per my pediatrician. Being concerned about side effects and not seeing any difference I stopped the prevacid and he started zantac at 6 weeks old. It seemed to help a little at first but the dosage of zantac had to be increased as he gained weight. I was again concerned with the effectiveness and side effects and researched to find a solution for my baby that would not cause any harmful side effects and that was natural.
I discovered Joe’s therapy for GERD and started my baby at 14 weeks old with the Nat Phos 6x. I immediately stopped using zantac. At first his reflux was a bit agitated, as he had more spit up that normal. However once I started consistently giving him a tablet AFTER a feeding his reflux and spit up was very mild- in just two days! After a full week following Joe’s therapy my little boy is so happy. There has not been any sign of pain and he rarely has spit up. I have amazing news to report! My baby boy was doing so great today. Hardly any spit up or wet burps or fussiness after eating. He did not wake up with screams of pain from any naps. He was just a happy boy!!!

Glad to note that baby has finally responded to the Nat Phos which in his case took a few days to stabilize, although it usually works within a few hours in the case of other patients.

You cannot possibly give him Nux V 30x as it is over a hundred thousand times more powerful than the 30c. It will not also help baby and will cause severe aggravation.

It is quite possible that baby will not want the Nux V at all judging by your latest news, and we will observe if my presumption is correct as he will be on Nat P for another 24 hours.

For the record, you will use just 6 pellets in 500ml or 10oz of water and a dose is just a teaspoonful.

Dear Joe,

Gabriel has done really well today being on full tablet of Nat Phos. He did not wake up with any screaming pains. He still has quite a bit of spit up. I was hoping to start the Nux Vomica but my husband picked up 30x not 30c and I know that is a huge difference in potency. I was not sure how to administer the 30x correctly and will have the 30c tomorrow. Can you advise how much water should be used for the 6 pellets and if I can add the teaspoon to a bottle or should it be after or before a feeding?

Look for spring water which is sourced either from deep bore wells or mountain streams where the water is pure.

To think that at my age I have the privilege of using the most modern technology including high speed Broadband which when compared to the dial-up service, I got in 1996 is just too good to be true.

We have had the equivalent of your Freeway which opened here a little over a year ago and the second opened a few weeks ago in time for CHOGM which was the Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting which concluded a week ago when 53 Nations from the world met here in Colombo. This second Express Way from the Airport to Colombo which used to take over an hour and half, is now just 12 minutes away.

And all this in my lifetime !

Hi Joe,

Thank you for the prompt reply. We will start the Nux Vomica 30c today along with a full tablet of Nat Phos. I presume that the bottle of water for dilution is standard 16 oz of water and the teaspoonful does it matter when I give it to him? Should I just add it to a bottle to be ingested during a feed or give it to him after with the Nat Phos?

From the images I’ve seen of Sri Lanka it looks like a beautiful place. It’s amazing how technology allows us to connect from across the world.

Again I appreciate your assistance in helping my son. As his mother I only want for him to be happy and healthy.

I would first give him Nux V 30c and you will use 6 pellets in a bottle of water and give him a teaspoonful twice daily.

This should normally reinforce the action of the Nat Phos 6x and we will observe how he responds for 2-3 days when he will most likely stop his throwing up.

Nat Phos 6x is absolutely harmless and he may want the full tablet till his normal digestive process kicks in.

Dear Joe,

Thank you for pursuing the purpose of life you have taken. It is restoring to humanity to encounter individuals like yourself. May God continue to grant you good health so you can continue in doing good works.

I appreciate the explanation you’ve given me on the Nux Vomica 30c it makes total sense the diluted version would be the recommended dosage and that was to be my next question. Since I can only find it in the pellet form what would be your instructions for dosage?

I wonder if it still maybe needed as today my baby Gabriel, still had much spit up(projectile) which he seemed to be upset and mildly fussy again. He never before Nat Phos 6x had much spit up as his reflux was silent. He has a strong swallow response and typically I could only hear the acid come back up then he would swallow it and scream. Today during two of his naps he let out a high pitched scream of pain I noticed he was swallowing when I went to check on him so I am assuming it could be acid or perhaps passing gas.

As I mentioned in a previous post I unfortunately could not breastfeed after 6 weeks and Gabriel is on Alimentum which is hypoallergenic formula that has the milk protein completely broken down. It is the only formula of the many we tried that he could tolerate. I should mention that due to formula use I incorporate the use infant probiotics to assist in his Gut health for his immunity as we have chosen not to vaccinate.

I do suspect that Gabriel does have a milk allergy as he has some eczema and redness around the anus. Would the Aethusa Cynapium 30 c still be of benefit in this case?

At this point would you recommend weaning him off the Nat Phos 6x? Would a 1/2 tablet every other feeding be the first step?

I am in SLC Utah and it is just about to get really cold and snowy soon. I suppose it is a fairly nice temperature in Sri Lanka. How long have you lived there?

Life is a continuous process of learning. I have celebrated my 84th Birthday a month ago and am in my 85th year and I do still continue to learn as I advance in years. I am also NOT a professional Homeopath as my therapy aka “Joepathy” is based on my observations like your report that half tablet of Nat Phos was more effective for your Baby than the whole tablet.

I do not like to prescribe Nux Vomica 6c but I did so as your a baby did not respond to the Nat Phos alone although he seems to have stabilized with the half tablet which I find rather strange.

You may like to know that in the ‘dilution’ at 30c the chances of any remedy ever hurting baby are very remote as at that potency the actual presence of the remedy, Strychnine is 1/100 to the power 30 or 100 multiplied 30 times over which will be virtually a number of zeros, around 30, that one cannot logically comprehend. In homeopathy we do go even higher like 1M or 1 Million, 10M etc. Every step higher makes the remedy more powerful and quite frankly I too refused to accept this, but when the remedy is used in helping a patient and it CURES, I have to admit that this theory is correct.

Glad you appreciate my service to suffering humanity which I shall do as long as God gives me life.

It occurs to me that baby many be allergic to your Breast Milk. You can get Aethusa Cynapium 30c which you will keep in hand but will not use till I say so.

Dear Joe,

My little one did much better by giving him the nat phos 6x after a feeding. I did notice he had much more spit up and was more fussy after giving him a full tablet so I have continued to only give him a 1/2 dose after a feeding.

He still has a lot of spit up but is only mildly fussy which is the best improvement I’ve seen in 6 days of using Nat Phos 6x. He also continues to spit up quite a bit of his meal even an hour later and is upset and cries.

I am a bit concerned with giving him the Nux Vomica 30c due to the Strychnine and possible side effects. With your experience have any babies that have taken it experienced adverse side effects? Is there any other remedy that you could recommend that will assist in treating GERD with the Nat Phos 6x that would be as safe as Nat Phos 6x? Or perhaps you could better educate me on why Nux Vomica 30c is the best option.

Thank you for taking the time to assist me and my little boy. I am so grateful that there are amazing human beings in the world like you willing to help complete strangers.

I am glad to note that you have already commenced using my therapy for your baby. I do wish that other mothers too will follow your example as I have been successful in saving many babies from a lot of agony with my therapy which is completely safe and invariably cures Baby GERD.

I believe that it is time you started baby on Nux Vomica 30c and you will report his progress daily if possible for a few days and when he stabilizes as I hope he will, whenever you wish to share his progress with me.

You may continue to give him a full tablet of Nat Phos 6x after every feed till he stabilizes and then reduce the dosage down to half.

For the record I shall copy my default therapy for Baby GERD which I hope will help your baby too.

The remedy that has proved to be very effective for Baby GERD is:

Nat Phos 6x dose 1 tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed. You will not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.

You may like to try to reduce the quantity of milk you give for each feed to enable baby’s digestion to stabilize. You will however feed more often. It is essential that you burp baby immediately after each feed.

You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby.You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.

You will also take Arnica 30c which you will order in the Liquid Dilution as per instructions below. Please note that the Arnica is NOT for baby.
You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that Nat Phos 6x will help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.
Report progress in 24 hours and as often as you wish on this thread.

If you discover that baby does not respond to the Nat Phos 6x alone and this has occurred in a few cases, you will contact me again and I shall then prescribe another remedy to reinforce the action of Nat Phos 6x.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Dear Joe,

I have read on abc homeopathy and baby center communities about Nat Phos 6x solving infant reflux.

My little boy is 14 weeks old he was delivered via c-section due to complications with a natural delivery at 37.5 weeks. He had jaundice and was not able to stay latched on for nursing so he was treated with light therapy and formula. I also pumped and gave him as much colostrum as possible. I am sure the introduction of formula in the first few days of life could be a major contribution to issue with digestion.

I was not successful in nursing and he was primarily fed formula for the fist 6wweks with some breast milk supplementation. After 6 weeks he has been exclusively on formula of all the ones we tried he seems to tolerate Alimentum which has the milk protein completely broken down.

I noticed signs of reflux around 2 weeks old along with major gassy pains as well. I tried management of these with burping frequently and keeping him upright for 30 mins after eating. Along with using other homeopathic remedies like gripe water and colic calm and infant probiotics. None seem to take care of the pain I knew he was still having as he would arch his back or pull up his legs and have high pitched screams along with the silent reflux. So out of desperation I turned to medicine at 5 weeks he was on prevacid for 1 week but the side effects were to scary and it didn’t seem to help. I switched him to zantac which did work and take care of the pain, but I again am concerned with side effects and did not want to keep him on it.

I stopped using zantac on 11/19 and started Nat Phos 6x. I have the hylands brand and have read various dosage options. I was giving him 1 tablet in every other bottle this would equal 3 to 4 tablets a day.

I haven’t seen any improvement from it and now he actually has major spit up when being burped that he did not experience before which he cries when he spits up like he is in pain again.

Today I have changed the dosage to a 1/2 tablet after a feeding and I wanted to know if you think that maybe the issue the dosage or if I need the to add Nux Vomica as well.

He is 14 weeks about 15 lbs eats 5 oz 6 times in 24 hrs sleeps an 8 to 9 hours at night.

Any advice that will help my baby I completely appreciate I just want him not to be in pain.

Aided by global warming, the potentially deadly mosquito-borne virus is spreading around the world to an alarming extent

It doesn’t have its celebrity fundraisers, unlike AIDS. It hasn’t made the headlines in the way that bird flu or SARS have. It isn’t feared in the way that polio or TB are, and yet dengue fever can kill and is spreading around the world to an unprecedented degree.

The latest figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) suggest that annual transmissions of the disease may breach 390 million. This year, infections are breaking records all over Asia and Latin America — from sweeping epidemics in Nicaragua to the worse outbreaks in six years in India, 20 years in Thailand and the first homegrown case in Western Australia in seven decades. Even temperate climates are now stalking grounds for dengue-carrying mosquitoes.

Almost 3 billion people, or 40% of the world’s population, live in areas where there is a risk of dengue transmission. Previously known as breakbone fever, owning to the excruciating muscle and joint pain inflicted, dengue first came to the fore in Southeast Asia during World War II, when large numbers of troops were afflicted with it. Up until the 1960s the disease was largely controlled with DDT, which decimated mosquito populations. But the mosquitoes crept back after the chemical was banned for its severe side effects and ever since “we have seen an ever increasing march of the virus into new territories and new recipient populations,” says Paul Young, professor at the University of Queensland in Australia and president of the Australian Society for Microbiology, who has been researching dengue for almost three decades.

Mention dengue and most people will think of aches and chills. But the disease is far more dangerous than that. Dengue causes white-blood-cell counts to plummet, making the body susceptible to secondary infections; even more alarmingly, it has a similar effect to platelets, impairing blood’s ability to clot. If left untreated, and particularly on a second infection, dengue hemorrhagic fever can take hold, and patients can suffer internal bleeding, shock and death.

While malaria rates have fallen 25% worldwide since 2000 — including a 35% drop in Africa, according to the WHO — dengue is seeing a dramatic upsurge. “South America is gearing up for a huge epidemic,” says Young. Asia has been particularly hard-hit, with 51,000 dengue cases in Cambodia and Laos; 96,000 in the Philippines; 135,000 in Thailand; 18,000 in Malaysia; and 15,000 in Singapore by the start of September. The U.S. has not been spared either, with the first case in a major city in Houston and “serious levels” in Florida.

Dengue exacts its greatest toll among young children, those with underlying health issues or those do not seek proper medical treatment. Financially — both from medical treatment and lost workdays — it costs billions of dollars globally each year. “It has been a never-ending cycle of increasing numbers,” says Young.

The reason for the swell is simple: vector control. Mosquitoes have more places to breed now that chemical spraying is less effective, and population clusters give the disease areas to propagate. This now includes the temperate climates of Europe and North America. Scientists say global warming may play a part — since associated higher rainfall creates more stagnant water that in turn allows more mosquito larvae to hatch. Young says that dengue’s move “into more temperate zones” is among his greatest concerns, and adds that many major U.S. and European cities will be susceptible to dengue should the trend continue.

So what about a vaccine? Dengue has five strains (the most recent was discovered in Malaysia, although scientists are playing down the risk to humans of that strain) and while some can be vaccinated against, so far protection from all of them has proved elusive. France-based Sanofi Pasteur, the world’s largest vaccine firm, had a inoculation slated for rollout in 2015, but trials earlier this year confirmed protection from only three out of the four dangerous strains. The company still intends to mass-produce the vaccine, and stage-three trials are now under way in Asia and Latin America involving 31,000 subjects. Nonetheless, the partial protection “was a surprise and we need to think more about how dengue works and research,” Dr. Melanie Saville, Sanofi Pasteur chief medical and clinical officer for dengue, tells TIME.

Faced with such challenges, scientists have searched for alternative ways of combating the disease. The team at Eliminate Dengue has been breeding genetically superior mosquitoes infected with Wolbachia bacteria, which essentially prevent the insects from getting dengue (although scientists are not sure exactly why). When released into the general population, these mosquitoes take over their dengue-prone cousins. Trials are currently ongoing in Vietnam with impressive results. “It’s a great piece of science and community engagement,” says Young.

The one thing that will accelerate research into dengue is the new threat it poses to the world’s wealthier regions and countries — however unfair that may seem. Big Pharma does not traditionally focus on developing world problems — Eliminate Dengue’s pioneering work is largely thanks to largesse from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation — but when affluent markets are in the firing line, attitudes change rapidly. “The amount of research work that was going into West Nile virus before it hit New York and spread across the States in 1999 was miniscule,” says Young, “and you can imagine the change. The same thing might happen with dengue.”

I am glad to note that TIME has devoted some space to highlight Dengue which is rampant here in Sri Lanka where I live and can be considered as an Epidemic today. It is reported that over 5000 patients suffering from Dengue are admitted to hospitals throughout the Island on a daily basis and the number of fatalities for this year alone has exceeded 400. I am very concerned to learn that the WHO has quoted an infection rate of 390 Million annually worldwide.

As far as I am aware, no drug has been identified that will CURE Dengue. I have however been successful in CURING many hundreds of cases of Dengue with a Homeopathic Remedy which is freely available throughout the world in Homeopathic Pharmacies, and will CURE Dengue in under 24 hours.

The remedy is:
EUPATORIUM PERFOLIATUM 200c in the Wet dose which is made by inserting about 6-8 pellets each 3mm Ø into a 500ml bottle of spring water, available in all supermarkets. The first dose is 2 tablespoonfuls of the medicated water and a teaspoonful of this water is given to the patient every 2 hours till the patient feels better in under 6 hours when the dosage is progressively reduced. Many patients have confirmed that their body aches and headache disappear in under 3 hours while the fever usually comes down to normal in about 24 hours. The Platelet count invariably drops down to very low levels <15000 and many patients have reported that this count increases by around 1000 per dose on the first day and continues to rise to normals levels in 48 hours. It is unfortunate that modern medicine does not accept Homeopathy as a Curative Science and I have had many instances where doctors have frankly admitted that there is no drug in their Pharmacopeia that can cure Dengue. I have tried hard to convince them to use this remedy in the hospitals and have offered to supply it free of charge for test purposes but their response has been negative. They have explained that according to the rules of their Medical Council, they are forbidden to use any Homeopathic remedy under pain of losing their license if they do so. It must be recorded however that some doctors who are friends and had patients in their own families have requested me for a sample which I gave them, and they all confirmed that their patient was cured in a few hours after taking this remedy in some inexplicable manner, which their drugs could not equal. I have tried very hard in Sri Lanka to make the general public and our Government aware of the fact that there is a CURE for Dengue. I have co-opted the daily Newspapers to carry articles by me in their journals and anyone interested can read them on my Website: Treatment Of Dengue Joe De Livera It is my hope that readers of TIME will consider the use of this remedy which is absolutely safe in use, in the event of any members of their families presenting Dengue and record their own experience on your Website. I would also like to add that this remedy will reduce any Fever of Viral origin within a few hours. I have been reading your posts on reflux for infants. It would be very appreciative if you would consider reading my story and helping us as well.

I have a 6 month old infant girl. Over the past month she has developed reflux symtoms. She does not spit up much at all so it does seem like silent reflux. This is also something we’ve been through with my first child for years so I recognized the symptoms right away. It only seems to bother her at nighttime and some evenings before bed. She awakens crying in pain, which is not her usual way to wake up. While holding her I can hear her stomach gurggling and noises in her throat. We try to burp her and hold her upright. She does eventually settle down but was waking up like this 3 times a night and it can take an hour to get her back to sleep as she does not want to be laid down again, prefers upright position. I have been prescribed zantac and given her one dose at night for the past 3 nights. I really would prefer to cure her with homeopathy treatment this time and not be on the zantac. The zantac does help her but it constitpates her and she is still up at night grunting as if she is trying to have a bowel movement. I had my husband go and purchase Nat Phos 6x today so we can hopefully start her treatment. Thank you for your consideration. Jeanine M

Thank you so much. I will start that fully tomorrow. I guessed about taking the Nat Phos for myself as well so i’ve been doing that. Last evening I did not give her Zantac but gave her some doses of the Na Phos after feeds and she slept great, only waking up once to nurse and back to sleep without problems! I will continue to update on her progress. Thank you so much. : )

Glad to learn that my therapy has helped your baby. You must of course STOP the Zantac which is known to be dangerous for adults and far more for babies. In contrast Nat Phos 6x is absolutely safe and is far more effective as you have already discovered.

Last night the baby did awaken once screaming and refluxing. I was able to nurse her back to sleep. I had to give her two doses of Nat Phos 15 min apart for reflux after the feeding. She did then settle down to sleep for the rest of the night. I have a question about the arnica. I was able to order some last evening online but I don’t know how long that wil take to arrive. In the meantime, can I take some pills I have at home here? They are 9C HPUS.

Yes you may use the Arnica 9c pellets which you have with you.

You can make the Wet dose by inserting 6 pellets if they are 3mm ø or you can use more if they are smaller in ø till you get the correct Arnica 30c in the Liquid Dilution.

Glad to note that baby is responding to my therapy.

You consulted me on November 11, just 4 days ago and your Baby can be considered as CURED of her Baby GERD.

You do not have to give her the full tablet of Nat Phos 6x from now on and you can now start weaning her by reducing the dosage to just half tablet and if she does not show any signs of GERD, you can stop it in a day or two. Nat Phos is absolutely safe for Babies and I do hope that other Homeopaths who treat similar cases will follow my therapy aka “Joepathy” which is the protocol I have formulated and prescribed since 2005, which has CURED many hundreds of cases of Baby GERD.

I am copying your case on my Website as a permanent record of how my Joepathy helped your Baby girl who would otherwise have been under the tender loving care of your pediatrician who would have poisoned her with Zantac which would have affected her future growth.

Coconut oil has improved my life

I am 74 years old and I have Parkinson’s, diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago and am under conventional drug treatment by Mayo Clinic. A year ago, while taking Mirapex Er (3mg) and Azilect (1Mg), my symptoms had progressed to severe slowness, unsteadiness, chronic stiffness and joint pain, frequent freezing episodes and I dragged my left leg. I had lost all facial expression and my lower left leg was retaining a significant amount of fluid (swelling to about 130%).

The addition of Carbidopa/Levodopa (25/100, 3 per day) eased the joint pain and the freezing episodes and restored some of the lost balance, but I still had annoying unsteadiness, slow movement, and could not rise from a low chair unassisted. I still dragged my left leg. I began to have severe lower back pain (under-medicated?) and got some relief from osteopathic manipulation.

This past April, I began taking coconut oil, worked up to 8T daily (4 with breakfast, 2 at lunch, 2 at dinner). I saw significant improvements in a couple of days. My wife and friends are astonished at my apparent recovery. It is strikingly noticeable. The reason for this dosage pattern is that I can feel a return of old symptoms 6-8 hours after the last dose, especially the return of dragging my left leg and low back pain.

Current status:
I move so quickly about the house (kitchen) that my wife and I nearly collide,
My speed on the elliptical trainer changed from 2 mph to 3.5 mph in a few days (I had to be careful with this, my knees were not used to this level of performance)
I have good balance (stand on one foot, put on pants standing without support, confidently step over small objects 6″, etc)
I can rise from any chair unassisted

Dr. Newport reports that 19 PD patients have reported benefits to her. Her initial and primary interest is in Alzheimer’s. To the degree that this is a case of benefit from improved nutrition to the damaged brain, there is hope that some of the AD benefits will also apply to the PD patients. Thank you for a Brilliant piece of Poetry where you have excelled yourself and have earned not only my admiration, but the admiration of the other members of the ABC and through it, of the World of your singular and very original effort to remember me on my 84th Birthday.

I never thought that you would surprise me the way you did a few days ago with your photograph of the Birthday Cake which you baked in my honour and which I thought was very original indeed.

You did mention about your “Ode to Joe” which I did not read till a short while ago. I am indeed humbled by your God given ability to weave the many remedies I have prescribed to members of the ABC and my Website, into your outstanding piece of Poetry “Ode to Joe”.

I can see that you have made a detailed study of my therapy on the ABC and on my Website, to include them all into Poetry which unfortunately I am not good at. As you may be aware, many of these remedies are not listed for the diseases that I have prescribed them for, and constitute my own “discoveries” which therefore qualify for their classification under the term “Joepathy”.

Thank you for your very original effort and I hope that it will be read by other members of the ABC. I am also copying it on my own Website.

I’m not sure if you have read my previous reply to report our progress since we added the wet dose of Nux Vomica 30c to my daughter’s treatment?

As She us so much better since we added the Nux Vomica 4 days ago, I started to reduce the Nat Phos dosage to just half a tablet after each feed to see if there was any change. I hope this was the right thing to do? Can you please confirm or advise if I should still be giving her a full tablet after every feed?

I have not made any other changes to the treatment yet, as I am awaiting your advice on whether we need to continue with the Nux Vomica, and the Arnica and Nat Phos that I am taking?

Hi Joe,

I added the wet dose of Nux Vomica 30c to my daughter’s treatment almost a full three days ago now, and her reflux does seem to be improved, if not almost gone. She is still spilling a bit at times, but it doesn’t appear to bother her and it is much less than when her reflux was at its worst. This little bit of spilling, and the odd bout of hiccups, are the only sign of any reflux that she has left. She is very settled and happy again, sleeping well and feeding well too. It’s so wonderful to see her feeling better – thanks to your treatment!

What I am unsure of now is how long we need to keep treating her for? Do I need to wait until she stops spilling before we reduce the dose? Or can we reduce it now that we have seen some improvement? Also, do we continue to use the Nux Vomica wet dose when we start to reduce the Nat Phos? And do I continue to take the same dose of Nat Phos and Arnica wet dose until we have finished treating her or do I reduce those treatments too?

Sorry to ask so many questions, I do really appreciate your time – it has made such a difference for us and our baby.

I saw your post coming in and hasten to respond.

It is indeed very satisfying for me to note that the data I have posted on my Website has been read by you and that you have used the therapy I have formulated even without waiting for me to advice you.

Since you have discovered that Nat Phos 6x alone is not sufficient to help baby you will now add Nux Vomica 30c in the Wet dose given twice daily and should hopefully discover that her GERD will be stabilised.

Please post her response in a few days.

Hi Joe,

After reading many of the threads above I have started giving my daughter your default dose for reflux, in the hope that it can be cured. To give you a bit of my daughters’s history, she was diagnosed as having mild reflux at about 10 weeks old (she is now almost 14 weeks). Her symptoms included frequent spilling (not just immediately after a feed, but all the time), wheezing/congested breathing, discomfort lying on her back or in any reclined position, rejecting the breast when feeding (she is exclusively breast fed) and crying as if in pain while feeding, arching her back, and constant unsettledness and irritability. Her sleep is also affected sometimes, and her weight gain was decreased due to her refusing to feed and constant spilling. She was prescribed to take infant Gaviscon after feeding three times a day, which helps the reflux and this improved her weight gain, but it makes her constipated. This appears to be causing her increasing discomfit after several weeks of taking the Gaviscon, so I don’t feel it is a good ongoing solution for us.

For the last 5 days I have been giving her a whole tablet of Nat Phos 6x dissolved in a teaspoon of water after each feed (up to 5 doses a day maximum). And I have been taking 2 tablets of the Nat Phos 6x after meals three times a day, and the wet dose of Arnica 30c twice a day. We stopped giving her the Gaviscon when we started the Nat Phos treatment, and it has taken a few days to work its way out of her system, but she is now not suffering from any constipation after about 4 days. However, today a lot of her reflux symptoms have started to come back. She has been spilling more again for a couple of days (without any noticable discomfort when she spills), but today she has started refusing the breast again, and been much more irritable. Because of this I am tempted to give her some Gaviscon again to ease her discomfort, but before I do so I thought I should ask you for your advice on how we can proceed? I have seen in some cases you have advised to add a wet dose of Nux Vomica to the treatment if the Nat Phos is not helping alone. Is this something we should try now, or should we wait a couple more days to see if there is any improvement from the Nat Phos?

I am copying the conversation with Zolivo who consuted me on September 12 to help her 8 week old baby who presented GERD and was spitting up his feed. She had consulted her paediatrician and as expected he had prescribed Zantac which resulted in:
“The Dr.s immediatley placed him on zantac and he was miserable after a week on it. He wasnt sleeping, constantly crying, and barely eating with lots of arching.”

In direct comparison she states today:

“Well I am here to tell you that if it wasnt for your help I would not have the most happy and lively baby ever…he went from eating every hour and nonstop crying at the time to now a 3 month old baby who does nothing but eat, sleep and laugh all the time. His eating improved considerably, at the time he could only drink 2 oz and is now drinking almost 4…he is sleeping comfortably and minimum 5-6 hours straight throughout the night. He is also finally sleeping in his crib which I could not do due to his silent reflux before.”

This is another case of how “Joepathy” helps to CURE suffering humanity.

I wanted to report my progress from about 2 weeks ago…towards the top of this posting I reached out to you regarding my baby who was diagnosed at 2 weeks of age with GERD. I had attempted your dose for 3 days and it worked but it returned about 3 weeks later and you recommended I give him 1 tablet after every feeding…Well I am here to tell you that if it wasnt for your help I would not have the most happy and lively baby ever…he went from eating every hour and nonstop crying at the time to now a 3 month old baby who does nothing but eat, sleep and laugh all the time. If, as I understand, you stopped the Nat Phos in 3 days simply because your son was OK at that time and discovered in 3 WEEKS that he was NOT, you have obviously jumped the gun by presuming that NP can help baby during this period, as it seems to have done, to my great surprise!.

If my surmise is correct this will prove how very effective HP is to help Baby GERD.

All you have to do, even without my permission, is to give it to him as prescribed, again.

Im sorry i guess i didnt explain myself correctly in my initial post i have tried the nat phos 6x already for 3 days he did fine and it came back 3 weeks later. So i wanted to ask if it was fine to give it to him for longer than 3 days since it seems it obviously depends on the childs response. My apologies for not explaining that correctly.

Don’t you think that it is somewhat early to ask me for how long you should give baby the Nat Phos 6x?

After all you have only started my therapy aka “Joepathy” TODAY.

I can reassure you that Nat Phos is not to be confused with the dangerous PPI drugs you were prescribed. NP is absolutely safe in use on a daily basis can can be used for as long as you feel that baby need it.

Report progress often to keep me advised of his response.

I guess my question is how long do i keep giving him the 1 tablet for? While he is on it he does great and then once i start to taper off it eventually comes back. I just wanted to double check ifnthere is a specific time period he should be on it before i start reducing the amount. Thank you so much for your help!

I am glad to note that you have read the many cases of Baby GERD on my website and used the same therapy that has helped hundreds of babies to overcome their gastric distress which pediatricians treat with the dangerous PPI drugs like Nexium and others equally dangerous to adults and more dangerous to babies.

The answer to your question is obvious.

Give baby a FULL tablet of Nat Phos 6x immediately after his feed and he will be smiling.

Nat Phos 6x is absolutely safe for babies and the many whom I have CURED of their problems are testimony to its effectiveness.

I have been reading a lot on your remedy to cure GERD because my 2 month old son was diagnosed at 3 weeks with infant reflux. The Dr.s immediatley placed him on zantac and he was miserable after a week on it. He wasnt sleeping, constantly crying, and barely eating with lots of arching. I found information anout the Nat Phos 6x and went snd bought it. I started him with 1 tablet after every feeding for one day with immediate success. Bybthe second day i took him down to half a tablet and he was doing even better…and then gave him half of a half tablet on day 3. I stopped the tablet by day 4 and he seemed great. He was eating and sleeping soundly and no longer crying, arching, and you couldnt even hear the reflux any longer. But last week he started with the arching and leaving some milk in his bottle as well. Just additional information on him…he is 8 weeks old weighing about 10.5 lbs. i tried the 3 day remedy again and he showed signs of improving but once we finished the 3rd day he started the arching again. Can you please assist me? Should he be on it longer? I am located in the US and if you need any other information please let me know.
